The Dream Team, Sarah & Tim #3
We set off for Paris once again to take part in the Tour Auto. We arrived on Eurostar and started at the Gran Palais Ephermal for the registration and Scruteneering on the Monday. We were driving a 1965 Ferrari 275. In the evening we attended the cocktail party and caught up with old friends from previous years.
We congregated at Chateau de Vaux-le-Vicomte to start the rally. We participate in the regularity part of the event. everything is timed, whether it is driving on the road or driving tests on closed roads at average set speeds.
There are also sections on racetracks where we have to achieve an average speed over 4 laps.
After 5 tough days we arrived in Cannes. We finished 8th in our class and11th overall out of 149 starters. The event was superbly organised as always.

The Tour was partly sponsored by Perrier Jouet Champagne. Delicious, but now we are back home and back in the Vineyard at Southcott.
