We are delighted to announce that our 2018 Vintage has been awarded a silver medal in the Wessex Wine GB competition.

Winner of the Roger Marchbank cup for the best sparkling wine from a vineyard under 2 hectares (Nov. 2021) in the Wessex Wine GB Competition.

Wessex incorporates, Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire and the Isle of Wight.

The quality in our wine

The Hallmark conveys the underlying quality credentials for our Classic Method sparkling wines, and epitomises the highest level of craft and quality. Producers of our top sparkling wines produced using the top varieties and to the levels of quality as outlined in our official designation, PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) can bear this Hallmark.

Southcott Brut, Silver Medal (Wessex WineGB Awards 2021 – Nov. 2021)

We are very excited about our new wine. It is a blend of the 2014 (25%) and the 2015 (75%). This means that it is classified as non-vintage.

This small production of traditional method sparkling wine is made from classic grape varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.
