We are thrilled to announce that our 2018 Southcott Brut has been awarded a Gold medal in the National 2023 Wine GB competition.
- 100 producers entered the Awards with 27 counties represented
- 245 medals were awarded, of which 34 Gold, 98 Silver and 113 Bronze
”In a virtual ceremony, this year’s WineGB Awards Trophy winners were announced via video link today at midday by the judging panel, comprising Co-Chairs TV wine experts Susie Barrie MW and Oz Clarke OBE, and Rebecca Palmer, wine buyer for leading independent wine merchants Corney & Barrow.” WineGB Wines of Great Britain.

Southcott Brut, Vintage 2018, a sparkling wine from Southcott Vineyard, Pewsey, has gained a Gold Medal in the national competition run by WineGB (Wines of Great Britain). The team of judges, led by wine experts Oz Clarke OBE and Susie Barrie MW, said that Southcott Brut is, “Full, juicy, fruit forward on the palate, with an appealing autolytic character underpinning the crisp Granny Smith apples, soft elderflower and elegant mousse.” Read More
